Abstract

This research was motivated by the low level of students' creative thinking skills in the IPAS subject, which is partly due to the limited use of suitable learning models and supporting media. To address this issue, the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model was applied with the support of the google earth digital application. The aim was to examine the improvement in students' creative thinking skills through the implementation of the PjBL model assisted by google earth in the Indonesiaku kaya raya topic. The research used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted over two cycles. Data collection involved both test and non-test methods, using a written creative thinking test and an observation sheet to assess the implementation of the PjBL model. The results showed significant progress: before the intervention, only 31% of students met the criteria, which increased to 75% in the first cycle and reached 100% in the second. The effectiveness of the PjBL model also improved, from 69% in the first cycle to 79% in the second. These findings indicate that using the PjBL model with Google Earth can effectively enhance the creative thinking abilities of fifth-grade students at SDN Sukalilah.
