This research is motivated by the low mathematical reasoning abilities of fourth-grade students at SDN Kamenteng, which is evident from their difficulties in explaining problem-solving processes, predicting outcomes, and making logical conclusions. The results of PISA 2018 indicate that Indonesia ranks low. To address this issue, the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by rotational symmetry media was implemented. This study aims to determine the effect of the PBL model on students’ mathematical reasoning abilities in the context of flat shapes. The method used is an experiment with a one-group pre-test post-test design. The population and sample of the study consist of 17 fourth-grade students. The research instrument is a mathematical reasoning ability test consisting of 5 validated questions. Data analysis includes Lilliefors normality test, t-test, and N-Gain test. The results of the normality test indicate that the data are normally distributed (Lhitung pre-test 0.141 and post-test 0.168 < Ltabel 0.206). The t-test yields a p-value of 0.000 (< 0.05), leading to the rejection of H₀. This indicates a significant effect of the PBL model assisted by rotational symmetry media on mathematical reasoning abilities. The N-Gain test result of 0.68 indicates a moderate improvement.
Sindi SopiahRoni HidayatRifahana Yoga Juanda

The author took this title because of the background of the author's experience when carrying out observations on grade V students of SDN Pangadegan, obtained a lack of mathematical problem solving skills on the material of building spaces. Based on the description above, this happens because students have not been able to carry out stage by stage in understanding the problem, making plans, executing plans and checking or matching back their answers properly. Therefore, the solution that is expected to improve mathematics learning is to use the Guided Discovery Learning (GDL) model assisted by Augmented Reality (AR) with the aim of this study is to determine the effect of guided discovery learning model assisted by augmented reality on mathematical problem solving ability on the material of building space. The population of this study were fifth grade students of SDN Pangadegan with a total of 19 students and used as research samples. The method used in this research is an experiment with a one group pretest-posttest design and using research instruments in the form of tests. Data was taken from the initial test (pre-test) and the final test (post-test). Based on the results of data processing, there is a significant effect. In this study, the average pre-test was 21.58 and the average post-test was 68.42 achieved by the sample after receiving treatment. The use of guided discovery learning model assisted by augmented reality has a positive effect on mathematical problem solving ability on the material of building space. This is evidenced by the t test which shows significant results at the real level of 0.05, namely > = 24.8988> 2.101. Thus the guided discovery learning model assisted by augmented reality has a significant effect on mathematical problem solving skills in the material of building space in grade V students of SDN Pangadegan, Rancakalong District, Sumedang Regency
Tania SafitriNandang KusnandarWindu Mandela

This research is driven by the low ability of students to understand concepts in the IPAS subject for fourth grade at SDN Budiasih in Tanjungkerta District, Sumedang Regency, for the 2024/2025 academic year. This issue arises from the improper use of the IPAS learning model in elementary schools. As a result, students remain passive and less creative when solving problems. The goal of this research is to find out how the Read, Answers, Discuss, Explain, and Create (RADEC) learning model affects the understanding of science concepts in the IPAS subject, specifically regarding the life cycle of animals, including metamorphosis and ametamorphosis. This study follows a quantitative approach using the Pre-Experimental method with a One-Group-Pretest-Posttest Design. The population includes all fourth-grade students at SDN Budiasih, totaling 15 students. Nonprobability Sampling technique was used to select participants. The data collection method involved tests, with the research instrument consisting of pretest and posttest questions focused on understanding science concepts. There are 8 multiple-choice questions in total. For data analysis, the research used Shapiro-Wilk normality tests and t-tests. The results showed that the Sig. (2-tailed) value in the Paired sample t-Test with α (0.05) is 0.00, which is less than 0.05. This led to accepting H₁, indicating a difference in the average understanding of concepts among students before and after using the RADEC learning model. This model, along with digital comic media, positively influenced students' understanding of the IPAS content related to animal life cycles, including metamorphosis and ametamorphosis, in the fourth grade at SDN Budiasih, Tanjungkerta District, Sumedang Regency, for the 2024/2025 academic year.
Lira IrandaPoppy AnggraeniDeni Moh Budiman

This research was motivated by the low writing skills of procedural texts of grade IV students of Pamulihan Elementary School, Pamulihan District, Sumedang Regency in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. Students' skills in writing procedural texts are still not optimal in terms of structure, namely; the suitability of the title to the content, the choice of diction so that the same words are repeated. This is because vocabulary and language mastery are still minimal and limited stimulation of imagination is caused by less varied learning, resulting in a lack of skills in stringing words together. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of diorama media on procedural text writing skills. This type of research is quantitative research using the Pre-Experimental method with the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population taken was all 18 fourth-grade students of SDN Pamulihan with a saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique used in this study was a test technique. While the research instrument was in the form of pretest-posttest questions with a one-item descriptive type. The data analysis technique used was the Liliefors normality test and the paired t-test. Based on the results of data analysis and hypothesis testing that had been carried out, it was found that at the α = 5% level, thitung 41.534 ≥ ttabel 1.753 was obtained. So it can be stated that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that diorama media has a significant effect on the writing skills of procedural texts of fourth-grade students of SDN Pamulihan, Pamulihan District, Sumedang Regency, 2024/2025 Academic Year.

Keyword: Diorama, Procedure Text, Writing Skills, Saving
Suci Adawiatul KaromahH SutarmanNia Royani
