<p class="p1">This research was motivated by the importance of students' critical thinking.</p> <p class="p1">Critical thinking is very important because it can help someone in making the</p> <p class="p1">right decisions and developing effective problem-solving skills. One effort that</p> <p class="p1">can be done to improve students' critical thinking skills on the material of</p> <p class="p1">natural phenomena is by using the inquiry learning model. The formulation of</p> <p class="p1">the problem in this study is whether there is an influence of the Inquiry learning</p> <p class="p1">model on students' critical thinking skills in the subject of Natural Sciences on</p> <p class="p1">the material of natural phenomena for grade V students of SD Negeri Pasirhuni</p> <p class="p1">I Elementary School, Tanjungkerta District, Sumedang Regency in the</p> <p class="p1">2024/2025 academic year. This study aims to determine the effect of the</p> <p class="p1">Inquiry learning model on students' critical thinking skills in the subject of</p> <p class="p1">Natural Sciences on the material of Natural Sciences for grade V students of</p> <p class="p1">SD Negeri Pasirhuni I Elementary School in the 2024/2025 academic year.</p> <p class="p1">The method used in this study is an experimental method, namely the Pre-</p> <p class="p1">Experimental design type One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The population</p> <p class="p1">used was all grade V students of SD Negeri Pasirhuni I Elementary School,</p> <p class="p1">totaling 20 students consisting of 10 male students and 10 female students. The</p> <p class="p1">instrument used is a written test sheet in the form of descriptive questions.</p> <p class="p1">Based on the results of the analysis obtained, namely the results of the study</p> <p class="p1">obtained the percentage before being given treatment of students' critical</p> <p class="p1">thinking skills had an average value of 47.3 and after being given treatment</p> <p class="p1">experienced an increase with an average value of 79.5 with the results of the</p> <p class="p1">t-test calculation, obtained <em>t</em><span class="s1"><em>hitung </em></span>(17.56) > <em>t</em><span class="s1"><em>table </em></span>(2.093) then Hα is accepted and</p> <p class="p1">H<span class="s1">0 </span>is rejected. <p>This research is motivated by the low critical thinking ability of fourth-grade students of SDN Jambu, Cisarua District, Sumedang Regency, in the 2024/2025 academic year, which is influenced by the lecture method that does not involve students enough. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the guided inquiry model on critical thinking ability on magnetic force material. This quantitative research uses a pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design on 24 students. Data were collected with a 5-question essay test and analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and paired t-test. The results show that the average posttest score (66.04) is higher than the pretest (47.08) with a significance value of 0.00 <0.05, so the guided inquiry model has a significant effect on critical thinking ability in science learning on magnetic force material of fourth-grade students of SDN Jambu, Cisarua District, Sumedang Regency, in the 2024/2025 academic year.</p>Nafisa Ilmi AuliyaNandang KusnandarNia Royani

<table width="593"> <tbody> <tr> <td width="387"> <p>This study aims to analyze the errors in the use of punctuation in the narrative texts of grade IV students of Cijambu I Elementary School, Tanjungsari District, Sumedang Regency in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The data in this study were obtained through tests and narrative text documents of grade IV students totaling 16 narrative texts. Data analysis techniques consist of data collection, identification of errors in the use of punctuation, grouping errors in the use of punctuation based on the form of the error, explaining errors in the use of punctuation based on its form, and drawing conclusions about errors in the use of punctuation. The results of the study showed that the most common errors in the use of punctuation were found in students' narrative texts, namely, the incorrect use of commas (,) reaching 38.5%. This is because students do not use commas (,) between elements in the details, do not use commas (,) before conjunctions, do not use commas (,) to separate subordinate clauses that precede their main clauses, do not use commas (,) after inter-sentence conjunctions, and do not use commas (,) to separate direct quotations from other parts of the sentence.</p> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table>SintiaAchyar EffendiNia Royani

<p>Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berargumentasi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPAS pada materi ekosistem. Observasi awal di SD Negeri Awilega menunjukkan kesulitan peserta didik dalam mengemukakan pendapat, memberikan alasan logis, dan menyanggah argumen secara ilmiah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbasis Socio-Scientific Issue (SSI) terhadap kemampuan berargumentasi peserta didik kelas V serta besar pengaruhnya pada indikator claim, evidence, warrant, dan rebuttal. Metode yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperimental dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest pada 13 peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi tes kemampuan berargumentasi dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat perbedaan nilai rata-rata pretest dan posttest kemampuan berargumentasi peserta didik yang dibuktikan dengan hasil uji t diperoleh perbandingan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) pada Paired Sample t-Test dengan nilai a (0,05) adalah 0,00<(0,05) dan nilai uji effect size sebesar 1,52 yang menunjukan kategori tinggi. Selanjutnya pada keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran PBL diperoleh persentase 100% dengan kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan, bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbasis Socio-Scientific Issue (SSI) berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berargumentasi peserta didik pada materi ekosistem kelas V SD Negeri Awilega, Kecamatan Tanjungkerta, Kabupaten Sumedang Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025.</p>Aulia Ulil AlbabAi Hayati RahayuPoppy Anggraeni

<p><sup>This research is motivated by the low critical thinking skills of students in the subject of science and natural sciences. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the Read-Answer-Discuss-Explain-Create (RADEC) learning model assisted by Audio Visual media on the critical thinking skills of elementary school students in science and natural science learning on technology for life. The method used is a quantitative pre-experiment with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The research sample was taken using a non-probability sampling technique, consisting of 30 fifth-grade students of SDN Parakanmuncang II, Cimanggung District, Sumedang Regency. Data collection techniques include non-test techniques in the form of observation sheets for the implementation of the RADEC learning model and test techniques in the form of pretest-posttest sheets for critical thinking skills. The results of the non-test technique analysis show that the implementation of the RADEC model is very high, namely 93% at the first meeting and 100% at the second meeting. Furthermore, the results of the test technique analysis show that the average value of the Pretest is 55.47 while the average value of the Posttest increases to 78.13. The normality test showed that the data were normally distributed. The paired sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, indicating a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores. To support these results, an effect size test was conducted, yielding a value of 2.099, categorized as high. <p>This research is motivated by the low level of student learning activity and critical thinking skills in mathematics learning. The purpose of this research was ti improve the learning activity and critical thingking ability of fifth-grade students at SDN Sukasirna through the implementation of the Quantum Teaching model assisted by angle clock media. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method based on the Kemmis & Mc. Taggart model, conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, action,<br>observation, and reflection. The subjects were 21 students. Data were collected through observation and tests using observation sheets and evaluation questions as instruments. The results showed an increase in students learning activity from 65% (fair) in the first cycle to 78% (good) in the second cycle. Critical thingking skills also improved, with learning mastery rising from 71.42% to 85.71%. <p>This research was motivated by the low critical thinking skills observed among fourth-grade students in the IPAS subject at SDN Sukamaju. This was evident from the students' difficulties in analyzing problems, providing logical reasoning, and drawing accurate conclusions. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach on students’ critical thinking skills. The research used a pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects were all 23 fourth-grade students of SDN Sukamaju. The instrument used was an essay test to measure students’ critical thinking skills in IPAS. Data analysis using the paired sample t-test showed a significant effect of the CRT approach on improving students’ critical thinking skills, as indicated by a significance value (sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. The average pretest score of 52.60 increased to 84.34 on the posttest. A total of 19 students (82.60%) met the criteria for critical thinking. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Culturally Responsive Teaching approach has a significant effect on critical thinking skills in IPAS learning.</p>Nandang KusnandarSantiani PutriAwaliyah Dahlani

<p>Mastery of morphology as one of the branches of linguistics is essential in writing skills, particularly in producing word forms that conform to the rules of the Indonesian language. The purpose of this study is to analyze language errors at the morphological level in narrative texts written by class V students at SDN Sindangheula. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including observation of students’ writing processes, interviews with the classroom teacher, and documentation of students’ written work. Based on the analysis of 17 narrative texts, 31 morphological errors were identified, consisting of 17 affixation errors (54.84%), nine reduplication errors (29.03%), and five compounding errors (16.13%). These errors resulted from the incorrect use of affixes, inaccurate reduplication, and improper writing of compound words. The contributing factors include the influence of spoken language in daily life, lack of understanding of morphological concepts, limited revision habits among students, the use of nonstandard affix forms, and interference from students’ first or regional language. In addition, spelling errors such as the separation of affixes from root words also affected the morphological structure of words. Although spelling was not the main focus of this study, such errors have implications for morphemic structure. These findings indicate the need to enhance language learning by emphasizing a deeper understanding of word structure in students’ writing activities.</p>N. <p>Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model <em>Project Based Learning</em> (PjBL) berbantuan video animasi terhadap keterampilan menulis teks prosedur siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Eksperimen dilakukan pada sampel yang terdiri dari 30 orang siswa kelas V SDN Bangkir Kecamatan Cimanggung Kabupaten Sumedang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pemberian perlakuan model <em>project based learning</em>, dengan melaksanakan <em>pretest</em> dan <em>posttest</em> keterampilan menulis teks prosedur siswa. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan uji-t data berpasangan dengan bantuan <em>Microsoft excel </em>2013. <p><em>This study aims to explore the implementation of ice breaking activities to improve student concentration in IPAS learning on economic activity material in grade V students at SD Negeri Ciawi. The problem of low concentration during learning is often encountered, especially when students are faced with abstract concepts. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of ice breaking, such as concentration claps, singing, and simple educational games, was able to improve students' focus, create a pleasant learning atmosphere, and increase their enthusiasm in participating in the learning process. <div class="page" title="Page 1"> <div class="layoutArea"> <div class="column"> <p>IPA merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang wajib dikuasai oleh siswa, tetapi pada pelaksanaannya masih banyak siswa yang kurang paham pada materi yang diajarkan oleh guru selama pembelajaran. Oleh dari itu, penelitian ini didasari oleh permasalahan tersebut yaitu kurangnya minat siswa terhadap pembelajaran IPA sehingga menyebabkan kurang terasahnya kemampuan kognitif siswa. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk permasalahan tersebut yaitu menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah atau Problem Based Learning (PBL). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah atau PBL terhadap kemampuan kognitif siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian eksperimen. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes dan lembar observasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Dilihat dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang cukup signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Hasil dari pre test dan post test kelas eksperimen memiliki peningkatan rata-rata yang awalnya 51,58 menjadi 84,16 dengan NGain 67,30% atau 0,67%. Sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol nilai rata-rata pre test yang diperoleh yaitu 26,33 lalu nilai rata-rata post test yaitu 68,61 dengan NGain skor 57,09% atau 0,57.</p> </div> </div> </div>Nabil Bagir Ramadhan

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of the paired storytelling learning model on the scientific literacy skills of fifth-grade students at SDN Sukamaju in the IPAS (Science and Social Studies Integration) subject. The method used in this study is a pre-experimental design, specifically the one-group pretest-posttest</p> <p>design. The sampling technique employed is probability sampling with the type of simple random sampling. The sample consists of 26 fifth-grade students. Data collection techniques include both test and non-test methods. The research instruments used are a scientific literacy skills test sheet and an implementation observation sheet for the learning model. The data analysis techniques in this study include validity testing, reliability testing, normality testing, t-test, and effect size test. The results showed a difference in the average pretest and posttest scores of students' scientific literacy skills, as evidenced by the t-test results where the Sig. (2-tailed) value in the Paired Sample t-Test was 0.00 < 0.05, and the effect size value was 0.68, indicating a moderate category. Furthermore, the implementation of the paired storytelling learning model reached a percentage of 92.3%, which falls under the "very good" category. This means all stages of the paired storytelling model were carried out very well according to the plan, creating an optimal learning environment and achieving learning objectives. Therefore, it can be concluded that the paired storytelling learning model has a positive effect on students’ scientific literacy skills in the IPAS subject, particularly on the topic of changes in natural conditions, in class V at SDN Sukamaju, Sumedang Utara Subdistrict, Sumedang Regency, Academic Year 2024/2025. <p><em>This study explores a character-based learning approach that emphasizes personal and social responsibility among elementary school students. Using a quantitative method with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design, the research involved 28 fifth-grade students from SDN Paripurna, a public elementary school in Jatinangor, Sumedang. Data collection was conducted through essay-based tests, which assessed responsibility across five dimensions: self-control, effort and participation, self-direction, caring and helping others, and transferring responsibility to real-life situations. Statistical analysis, including normality and paired sample t-tests, showed a significant improvement in students’ responsibility after the intervention. The results indicate that a structured character education model can foster both personal discipline and social awareness, helping students develop moral behavior within the school environment. The findings reinforce the importance of integrating value-based learning into academic subjects, particularly civic education, to build student responsibility holistically.
