Abstract

Not a few fish fans pay less attention to the conditions of the pond, especially those who are busy with their work, even though the dirty conditions of the ponds can cause disease in fish and even death. From these problems, we need a system that can replace pool water automatically when the pool conditions become cloudy and dirty. With this automatic system, the condition of the pool will be maintained even if the owner leaves it. The method used in this research is the prototyping model which includes the stages of needs analysis, prototyping, prototyping evaluation, system coding, and system testing until the system is ready for use. The results obtained from the research conducted were means of replacing fish pond water by utilizing a microcontroller-based water turbidity sensor. The conclusion that can be drawn from this discussion is how to design and build a water replacement system applied to koi fish ponds using a turbidity sensor, the water replacement process will occur automatically if the sensor detects turbidity in the pond water.
